The paper is taken by the upper felt with the pick-up system, then goes to the felt press– consisting two press rolls – where the paper is pressed between the upper and lower felt. The lower felt has the only function to take up the humidity of the paper.
The paper remains under the upper felt and goes to the yankee press roll which presses the paper onto the yankee cylinder.
Both felt sections have Uhle-boxes, showers and manual felt tensioning and regulation systems.
Dry section: 8 drying cylinders. Canopy hood on the cylinders. Cylinder diameter: 1,5 m ca.
Operating pressure:2,5 barg.
3 doctor blades: detaching blade, creping blade, cleaning blade. Pneumatic system.
No coating chemicals necessary, except modest quantities of realease agent mixed together with the stock.
