TERMS AND CONDITIONS

NB. 1) The full terms and conditions are available on request from the same.

NB. 2) Regardless of any request or not for those full terms and conditions, they are accepted by the Purchaser when it or its agents or assignees request Saxon Machinery to search for, or quote for, any Goods, Services or Machinery. 


Any Machinery, Goods or Services are offered "As is where is" which expression all parties acknowledge to be a standard term in the machine industry, meaning that the Purchaser places no reliance on any information given by Saxon Machinery or Fine Trading (the Seller) and there is excluded from the contract any warranties, express or implied, which might otherwise be implied by law relating to the state and condition of the goods, their location, merchantability or fitness for the Purchasers purpose (whether or not such purpose is made known to the Company) and the Purchaser must satisfy itself as to these matters by means of its own investigations and enquiries, and if necessary through obtaining its own independent advice of professional advisors (of which the Company is not one).


Further, the Purchaser is solely responsible for the safe removal of the Machinery, Goods or services from the Seller's or any Third Party's premises. The Purchaser must furnish the Seller with all necessary insurance cover and indemnify the Seller for all losses, claims, and demands in any way arising from the actions of the Purchaser, its employees or agents in connection with the dismantling, removal and transport of the machinery.

    

The Purchaser undertakes that once Saxon Machinery has effected an introduction, they shall not exclude, or attempt to exclude, Saxon Machinery from any subsequent transaction.  


In the event that such exclusion occurs (regardless of the reason) the Purchaser will immediately pay Saxon Machinery its standard fees, in full, upon irrevocable signing of any purchase order or payment of any deposit or purchase price, or part thereof and for any and all subsequent transactions that are initiated within a period of 24 months.

SITE REGULATIONS FOR ALL SUBCONTRACTORS

Saxon Machinery Ltd. is committed to an accident and injury free workplace


ALL PERSONNEL ON SITE MUST:

        Know how to contact your supervising officer.

        Undertake a site induction before starting work. 

        Comply with the Working Regulations for Contractors.

        Sign in and out of security at the gatehouse every time you enter or leave the site.

        Report all accidents, incidents and spillages without exception.

        Make sure you have the correct Permits to Work and operate machinery on-site. 

        Use the correct personal safety equipment including but not limited to:

        Wear 

        High Visibility Jacket. 

        Safety helmet, 

        Safety shoes 

        Safety  glasses.

        Keep to marked walkways.

        Work according to your method statement.

        Ensure your electrical equipment is tested and approved by the relevant authority.

        Store all materials in a safe manner.


IT IS NOT PERMITTED TO:

        Bring vehicles on to site without permission.

        Exceed the site speed limit.

        Park in the main car park unless otherwise authorized.

        Drink Alcohol or take illegal drugs on site or when engaged on company business

        Arrive on site in an intoxicated state

        Smoke anywhere on site with the exception of a designated area (when one is so designated).

        Use or remove company equipment without permission.

        Dispose of anything down drains.

        Dispose of anything in skips without permission.

        Use anything other than 240v tools without approval.

        Make unauthorized electrical connections.

        Make unauthorized process connections.

        Leave any site in a dangerous condition without full signage and protective barriers

        Leave any site in an untidy condition with rubbish not disposed of correctly.

        Leave company equipment unsecured.


PLEASE BE AWARE:

        all contractors are responsible to ensure that their employees, or subcontractors (and their employees) are aware of 

        these regulations

        Machinery on site may start without warning.

        Random vehicle searches are carried out.

        Know where your Fire Assembly Point is.

        A site emergency telephone number is allocated for each site (If in doubt, ask your Supervising Manager)

Contravention of the regulations and safety rules may result in the offender being immediately banned from site without further notice or recourse to recompense!
